About The Shattering Star

The very earth beneath our feet is shattering, but even as entire islands of land break away and float into the sky, there are those who believe they can stop it. Celeste, airship pilot and daughter of the Lord Governor of Falyn, is running out of ideas. In one last desperate attempt to save her home, she calls on one of the most powerful elf sorcerers in the world, praying that he can help, or at least give some answers.

Hi, I'm rikoDLC, and I'm an artist from Southwest Louisiana. I grew up watching anime and reading manga as many artists in my generation did, getting heavily indoctrinated influenced by Shonen Jump and Studio Ghibli in my formative years. My first foray into webcomics was the 2013 fantasy adventure story The Heroes are Dead, followed up by the shogi-themed comedy comic Microcosmos in 2015. Following an extended hiatus from art, I return once again to the tablet where I belong.
